The Motorized Exhaust Reel (MER) is the ideal solution for truck, bus and construction off-road vehicle workshops with high ceilings and heavy high-temperature hoses. The rugged strength of the MER gives an extra margin for these applications, specifically if hoses are frequently raised and lowered.
MER provides the best lifting capacity of all the Plymovent hose reels. MER’s power margin and strong transmission are designed to withstand heavy usage, thus ensuring long, reliable and trouble-free performance for many years.
Designed to retract the hose with the assistance of an electrical high-torque motor.
The motorized hose reel (MHR) is designed to retract the hose via an electric motor. This hose reel is ideal for general and light duty vehicle workshops.
With the hose safely elevated, you can also operate other equipment in the workshop. This hose reel also limits potential damage to personnel and vehicles. The MHR maximum lifting capacity is 51 lbs (23 kg) with a power supply of 230V, and 33 lbs (15 kg) with a power supply of 120V.
Designed to retract the hose with the assistance of an electric motor.
The Motorized Spring-operated Hose Reel (MSHR) combines the benefits of two Plymovent hose reels, SER and MHR. MSHR includes both a recoil motor and spring cassette, making it ideal for facilities with heavy-duty trucks that demand more lifting capacity, due to the weight of the hose and nozzle. With MSHR, the hose will stay in any position until the up or down button is engaged.
With the hose elevated, operators can safely use otherequipment in the workshop such as cranes or lifts, while also limiting potential damage to personnel and vehicles.
Designed to retract the hose with an electric motor that is assisted by a spring.
The Spring Exhaust Hose Reel (SER) uses an enclosed spring cassette to recoil the exhaust hose. An operator can pull down the hose to the desired position and pull down again to retract the hose.
SER is recommended for small to medium-sized working areas in which the hose needs to be stored when not in use - limiting potential damage to personnel and vehicles. The SER maximum lifting capacity is 40 lbs (18 kg). A dual spring option increases the lifting capacity to 75 lbs (34 kg).
Designed to retract the hose with the assistance of a spring.
The FE hose drop is the right choice if you need exhaust extraction but have limited space. With the extraction hose connected direct either to the ductwork or a fan (in the case of the FEF) you have an easy but efficient system in use.
A simple and economic solution when you have to extract exhaust gases and cover more than one service bay while using a central extraction system.
If your workshop has no fixed vehicle positions the FEB is your choice. The swing-arm will reach as far as 8 m into the service bay and pass over the top of heavy equipment with ease. This gives you optimal flexibility.
Designed to cover a wide area with a simple hose drop system.
